Notes:
The 1970s restoration of J-107 / 2131 was,
I think, done for the late Richard Gold, who was the one who sold it to Tom
Monaghan of Domino's at the Kruse Auburn sale in 1979 for $1 million.
Monaghan slapped the Domino's Duesy sidemount covers on it and made the
most, publicity-wise, of the record price. I think the car was displayed at
Domino's Farms for a time. - C. Summers
